Inbound and outbound calls not completing

Reason for Outage (RFO): Inbound calls were failing on most of the Hosted PBX systems. In the early morning hours of 5/20/2020 there was a large-scale brute force attack on most of our hosted servers. In order to mitigate this issue, we updated several rules in our global firewall. There was an improperly formatted entry in the firewall which caused the firewall to block more traffic than intended. After troubleshooting we were able to locate this rule and remove it.

We are now instituting a check in our global firewall system to block any improperly formatted entry that could cause this type of issue in the future.
