Communications Carriers Upstream Carrier Latency issues - This has affected some customers for outbound calling and faxing.

Tuesday July 9th 2019, 9:00am MDT - At this time the fax queue has a large backlog. This has resulted in longer than normal delays in sending or receiving faxes. Due to this backlog we believe that it will take several hours for the queue to clear and for normal fax speeds to resume.


Tuesday July 9th 2019, 8:40am MDT - Our upstream carrier is no longer seeing Latency caused by Century Link's issue yesterday. Voice service is no longer impacted and inbound faxes are queued but they are being delivered.


Tuesday July 9th 2019 7:30am MDT - After speaking with our upstream provider there are still ongoing issues that are being addressed. Most of the connectivity has been restored but there are some customers still experiencing latency issues and long delays in faxes. Our provider is aware of these issues and is working to resolve them. There is no current estimated time of restore. As soon as any new information comes available we will update this post.

Our upstream carriers systems are healthy; however, the Internet connectivity between a customer premise and the upstream providers infrastructure is impaired. Monday July 8th 2019, 2:07pm MDT - Please be advised that our upstream provider will continue to track a nationwide Internet event involving CenturyLink. Our upstream providers systems are healthy; however, the Internet connectivity between CenturyLink and the Voyant infrastructure is impaired. We are closely monitoring the situation. Monday July 8th 2019, 10:30am MDT - Our upstream carrier is currently experiencing latency issues which is disrupting services. We believe this is related to Century Link outage in the area. They are investigating and working to resolve this as quickly as possible.


Monday July 8th 2019, 9:49am MDT - Our upstream carrier is investigating the cause of fax and voice quality issues.
